ANNA FABIJAŃSKA, Ph.D. D.Sc. Eng. Full Professor

	I hold the title of Professor of Engineering and Technical Sciences in the scientific discipline of Information and Communication Technology, which I obtained in 2022. I am a graduate of the Master's degree program in computer science at the
	Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology. I obtained a doctoral degree and a doctor habilitated in the field of technical sciences in computer science. I work at the Institute of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology. I am also a member of the Committee on Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a former member of the Polish Young Academy (term of office 2016-2021). My research interests include computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence (including deep learning), and digital image processing and analysis. In particular, I focus on developing dedicated automatic image analysis pipelines for applications in medicine, industry, and earth and environmental sciences. I was also a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under the program for outstanding young scientists, a scholarship holder of the START program of the Foundation for Polish Science, and a laureate of the Award for Outstanding Achievements Contributing to the Development of Science for Young Scientists Working in the Lodz Voivodeship.
