Associate Professor

  I was awarded a M.Sc. degree, a Ph.D. degree and a D.Sc. (habilitation) degree in computer science by the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering, Lodz University of Technology. Anna Fabijańska  
  I'm an associate professor at the Institute of Applied Computer Science of Lodz University of Technology. I am also the member of The Polish Young Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the member of the Committee on Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
My research interests focus on computer vision. In particular, they concern the development of image processing and analysis algorithms for scientific, industrial and biomedical vision systems. The abovementioned issues were the core of my habilitation thesis, prepared in the years 2010-2012 made possible by a grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland (MNiSzW). I was also a beneficiary of a scholarship for outstanding young scientists in the years 2013-2015 granted by MNiSzW, a beneficiary of a Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) START scholarship in 2011 and the manager of a scientific project within the framework of the Iuventus Plus programme in the years 2013-2015. Recently, I have received a professor scholarship granted by the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology.
