ANNA FABIJAŃSKA, Ph.D. D.Sc. Eng. Full Professor

	I was awarded a M.Sc. degree, a Ph.D. degree and a D.Sc. (habilitation) degree in computer science by the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering, Lodz University of Technology.
	I'm a full professor at the Institute of Applied Computer Science of Lodz University of Technology. I am also the member of Committee on Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the former member of The Polish Young Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences (in the years of 2016-2021). My research interests focus on computer vision, including image processing and analysis, machine learning, artificial inteligence, neural networks and deep learing. In particular, my main concern is the development of the dedicated image processing pipelines for scientific, industrial and biomedical vision systems. The abovementioned issues were the core of my habilitation thesis, prepared in the years 2010-2012 made possible by a grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland (MNiSzW). I was also a beneficiary of a scholarship for outstanding young scientists in the years 2013-2015 granted by MNiSzW, a beneficiary of a Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) START scholarship in 2011 and the manager of a scientific project within the framework of the Iuventus Plus programme in the years 2013-2015. I also received a professor scholarship granted by the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology.
